Before installing it according to the manual needed to change the access privileges to files

666 (/forum/inc/config.php) and (/forum/inc/settings.php)
777 (/forum/cache/), (/forum/cache/themes/), (/forum/uploads/) and (/forum/uploads/avatars/)

How with permission after installation?
Remains settings 666 for (/forum/inc/config.php) and (/forum/inc/settings.php)?

config.php file can be changed to readable only. but settings.php needs to remain writable.

The reason settings.php needs to be writable ( 666 ) is because settings are stored both in the file and the database.
