Hello,
I wonder if someone will help me with the background colour of:
"
Alternating Table Row 1 (Customized in this style)" its something like #f45E45 maybe its something very simple to find back but ..............at the moment I don't no where to look?
Thank you for your helping.
Chris.
Admin Cp / Themes / Modify | Delete .... Choose the theme you want to edit and you'll find it in there.
Thank's Lopalong
Where I'm actually looking for is the initial background color # of: "the Alternating Table Row 1 (Customized in this style)". I forgot to save it by modifying this area.
I'm also looking for a way how-to make the "Forum Link" to open in a new window?
"Enter a link here to make the forum redirect to another URL. This will not be an actual forum, however, permissions can still be set for it".
The two colours used in the default alternating backgrounds are..
F5F5F5
EFEFEF
To get a url to open a link in a new window. add....
target="_blank" to the url string that you are executing.
For bbcode use:
[b][url]http://www.raceology.com[/url][/b]
With a bbcode anchor use:
[b][url=http://www.raceology.com]Raceology[/url][/b]
For html code use:
[b]<a ref="http://www.raceology.com" target="_blank" /></a>[/b]
With a html anchor use:
[b]<a ref="http://www.raceology.com" target="_blank" />Raceology</a>[/b]
Example bbcode url's
http://www.raceology.com
With a bbcode anchor use:
Raceology
You can't use html code here... and the bbcode should open in a new window, providing you have your browser set to
"Open links in new window"
Thank you very much, good job, that keeps me busy for a wile.
Regards,
Chris

If you need to / want to practice on a different style, it is a good idea to upload a test theme. And the best way to do that is to go to the mybb_123/Upload/install/resources/ and open with wordpad (NOT Notepad)
mybb_theme.xml.
Change: <theme name="MyBB Master Style" version="122"> to <theme name="test" version="122">
Rename: mybb_theme.xml to test.xml and install it as a "New" theme.
It is better to make changes there and then import them into the default template or theme set etc..
