I recently installed a brand new installation of 1.8.6.

A week of posting, and getting categories, etc.. many hours involved. Thankfully i used mybb built in db backup service.

Something happened in my attempt to improve and my functioning db was deleted.

When I go into t php admin and try to upload the DB, it fails and says the DB already exists.

I remove all the tables and try to import and the php admin says it cannot because the table does not exist.

i drop all contents and it errors again because it says nothing exists.

Please help. Forum down 5 days now.

do you have original database backup (without any changes) ? what is your forum url & who is the web host ?

DB is not of virgin site. It is of a week and a half  of posts. no mods except a theme.
Forum url is Baalt.net
Host is Arvixe.

if you are not sure of the database backup then contact web host. they might be having automated backup.
if you need checking of your database backup then upload it to root folder of your forum
and you may PM me temporary access to forum admin panel & web host panel
