Where it says Promote the board..below the shoutbox.. and above the actual forum..

Where do I modify this?? I looked everywhere. Also could I add put a image there? If so, what would the codes entail.

The link above will allow you to add a news bar like the one in the screenshot. You then modify the content of the news bar from the index/headerinclude template, whichever you added it to.

Alternatively, I have a Board Message plugin which adds a similar bar to the forum index, the content of which is modified from Settings -> Board Message Settings.

How if you even can, put a image in there?? I tried using the [IMG] codes and i tried using the images/template/pic.gif also. Just wondering if i'm missing somethin that's so obvious lol

Are you using:

<img src="images/template/pic.gif" />

The image needs to be put in there using HTML.
