After I upgraded my forum to 1.8.6 I noticed this issue :

1. How can I make them one row again?

2. How can I add icons (fontawesome icons IIRC) next to them?
If you notice all buttons except the first one has icons. 
First one comes from plugin, so it has no icon.

which theme you are using ? provide forum url (and a test user account if required) so that someone can check it
