Hi I have installed this in connection to my website or blog no problem because both have edit access to index.html but now I have a standalone myb installtion on my server and do not know how to access head section for meta tags and google verify meta tag, as well as seo, what am I missing doing, i tried using the index.html file in the css dir but that was not recognized.....any one can help here?

You can modify how MyBB looks from the Templates section of the admin cp. Specifically, you can modify the header of your board from the header template.
