Is there a plugin or other possibility to authenticate against a web service? I need some suggestions on how I should integrate MyBB my web site.
I have currently a web site where users can register themselves. I need to add a forum, and decided to use MyBB. For current users I can create the forum users manually, for new users I can modify the registration script to register also to the forum. I have a central database where all users are registered, but access to the database is via a web service. I could not find any info or plugin that could make remote authentication.
I searched the forum, and found some redirects to inc/functions_user.php, but could not find any detailed documentation.
Please advise.
