So earlier today I made a post about a plugin error, however, after further investigation I believe the issue to be related to JavaScript. Clearly the plugin is the culprit, but I can't figure out what changed.

As you can see on the top right corner, the collapse button shows a broken image. However; I cannot click it either. Furthermore any of the "Options" buttons in the ACP no longer work either.
At this point, the plugin has been deactivated and uninstalled. So my goal here is to fix the whatever bug is causing my images to remain broken and get everything functioning again.
If anyone can help me with this, I'd appreciate it greatly.

I managed to fix the JavaScript issues, so at least the buttons work now but unfortunately the broken images still remain.
Changed title to reflect the persisting issue.

I'm getting 403 errors which are preventing me from fetching the images.
Fixed:
Looks like the plugin changed the images folder permissions from 755 to 770.
