What theme do you have set for yourself? Is it possible you are on an older theme or a different theme for some reason.

If you want to be sure that you are on the default theme go to ACP -> themes, click on the options button and then force on users.

Hi, I only have one theme installed (Unova theme).

I tried making a copy of myBB master theme and forcing all users to that.  This obviously looked different but made no difference to the purge spammer option being missing for posts still in moderation queue.

I was not aware there was more than one view type, but found and tried switching to something called 'classic' in userCP - but this made no difference.  I could not find a 'horizontal' view type option anywhere, but presume this is the same as 'default'?
ACP -> settings -> showthread options. You will see classic & horizontal options.

In UserCP there is no horizontal option, but if you deselect classic, then the view is horizontal.

Ah - thanks.

No, no difference either way - still no button for items still in moderation queue.
Your forum shows 1.8.19, but it does not look like your theme has been updated accordingly.

Above is not right for 1.8.19 installation. but there may be many changes missing in addition to this.

That is interesting.
It is possible that my webhost Cpanel softalicious function caused this at some point (there was an occasion where I allowed it to run its own automated update script - at the time I noticed no resulting problems)

Is there a way to find and replace files that are not up to date, without damaging the current configuration?
I did the last upgrade according to myBB official upgrade instructions (as far as I can tell), and everything other than this moderation queue issue this seems to be working
As far as updating your theme goes, you will have to start with the Mybb version the theme was built on, then you will have to check every subsequent mybb blog post to see what the changes were and apply that to your theme. You have to update templates and CSS.

If this problem started after upgrading to 1.18.19, then most likely that is the problem.

I just did a full upgrade, overwriting existing files, then running the upgrade script from version 1.8.10

I then switched to the default theme - and still, the purge spammer button is missing for items in the moderation queue.  Hopefully, that eliminates my Unova theme as the culprit?

When I use my Chrome browser 'view page source' function, even after the upgrade I still see:

<script type="2b64243a8632f7ccda2ace3d-text/javascript" src="https://www.nzarchitecture.net.nz/jscrip...s?ver=1806"></script>

<script type="2b64243a8632f7ccda2ace3d-text/javascript" src="https://www.nzarchitecture.net.nz/jscrip...s?ver=1806"></script>

<script type="2b64243a8632f7ccda2ace3d-text/javascript" src="https://www.nzarchitecture.net.nz/jscrip...s?ver=1810"></script>
I would not eliminate your theme until it is updated properly. whatever is causing this is, is specific to your setup, because this cannot be replicated on the default theme, or my custom themes for that matter, i checked.

OK, looking at the installation on web host via FileZilla, I can see those .js files showing as from older MyBB versions all have date 10 September on the server (the date of 1.8.19 update release I am guessing).  so presumably either there is some sort of older cached version of the site still operating, despite me purging caches and switching off Cloudflare, or those are simply the most recent versions available, and no update of those files was required?
