I need help i can't access my own ftp server on my board but my friend can so can someone tell me why my ftp server works on my friend computer and not on my computer thanks.
Most obvious one is that firewall/router is blocking the connection. Try disabling your firewall for a second or two whilst you try to connect.
A less likely one is if you are using a
ftp.domain.com to conenct. If you've just setup the domain it might not be fully resolved and that's why you can't access it.
Firewall and router are the main culprits for this sort of thing though...
You also should try to use passive mode at your FTP Prog.
If your connected to a router try getting to it by using the local IP address of the server.
