(NB the blue is by design so its only the white box with the white prefix)
How to get rid of the prefix in the Thread title on the NAVBAR?
its using full HTML LOL !!!
Secondly the prefix in the showthread has NO HTML though !! Also in the second pic
This is not a bug, it's a problem with your theme. Only bug on clean 1.8 forums should be reported here. Moving to Theme Support.

link to your forum? if u can ad link it would be easier to see the issue
What do you call a feature that's not working as it should? A bug?
Clearly the output on the nav bar, should have parsed out html from prefix
Clearly, the output on the showthread should NOT have parsed out html from the preffix

Yes, a bug. But not sure if you understand the fact that bugs may affect one of 534746897 addons to a software rather than the software itself.. A theme is one of these addons.

Clearly because of what? Your opinion? That definitely makes sense...
It was made to match the
default theme, not yours, so you have to edit either the prefix or the code to suit your own needs.
its not made to suit the default theme, it just doesnt take into consideration that users would actually use html in the code...
Because it's a simple prefix, you don't need html at all.
then why have html available in the first place and then parse html differently in two different places?
and its just sticks the prefixes in there as part of the thread title without even using "[ Prefixes]" to differentiate from the title itself
btw, where is it in the codes? i might as well hack it if it s not changed
Look
ACP:
Show thread:
Postbit:
Same style in each one, in the default theme.
Now, test yourself IN THE DEFAULT THEME.
its should NOT have html in the NAV at all, that makes NO sense on first principles; it SHOULD have the html in the show thread, SO its assed backwards
(yeah i am using bootstrap classes which isnt working when injected like that but the fundamentals are all wrong !!
Btw, where did you defined the test class?
