I really tried to go through forums but can't find a solution. 

I have everything thing set up and my host support php mail. The evidence is that I receive email whenthe settings are set to Administration activation. 

But when I select email activation, it does not send email. 

Possible solutions?

Did you check the spam folder?

If there's nothing in the spam folder try seeing if your using the correct email address.

And I handed my web to someone else, though it got some hardships, this forum software is really cool and easy to use with some perfect configuration and interface, bye!

Have the same problem currently.
I just noticed that outgoing emails are rejected, in fact in my board mailbox I found dozens of these errors:

"A message that you sent was rejected by the local scanning code that
checks incoming messages on this system. The following error was given:

"Relaying not permitted"
