I suspect this is a common problem(!) but while trying to activate a new member's account/change status, keep getting the error message:

Quote:Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /forums/admin/users.php on this server.

Other admins on the forum are having similar problems - which has only happened very recently. Is there an quick/easy fix to this at admin level? The owner is currently unavailable and I have the impression only she can sort this out with the relevant software. But even if this is the case, any responses would be helpful for her when she comes back online!

Read the sticky in this forum about mod_security. If this is the problem, it probably isn't going to be possible to fix it unless you have FTP access.

I had already read the relevant sticky, but - not having FTP access - you've just confirms my fears! Guess I'll just have to wait until the owner returns!
