Hello,

I'm using myBB 1.2.5 on Suse Linux 10.0, PHP 5.0.4, mysql 4.1.13.
After turning on captchas, I get captchas with all letters overlapping each other at the left side of the image (see attached images).

PhpInfo returns for gd:
GD Support enabled
GD Version bundled (2.0.28 compatible)
FreeType Support enabled
FreeType Linkage with freetype
FreeType Version 2.1.10
GIF Read Support enabled
GIF Create Support enabled
JPG Support enabled
PNG Support enabled
WBMP Support enabled
XPM Support enabled
XBM Support enabled

I,ve got the same problem - I'm using MyBB 1.2.7 on Suse Linux 10.0, Apache/2.0.54, PHP 5.0.4, mysql 4.1.13.

I don't know why it doesn't work. At my previous hosting it was working good.
Can anyone help me?

Maybe you can try uploading a new copy of captcha.php?

Try reuploading your captcha fonts in Binary mode

Will it work if you remove the captcha fonts?

It may be because of your host i think. I have the same problem and removed captcha fonts. It works normally now.
