I have a suggestion to add to MyBB 2.0 download System / inserting files. Something like a portal.php , index.php is it that was the case . Downloads.php (As a separate function)

A dedicated download system is better off as a plugin, it's not a core forum feature. Attachments in 2.0 will be getting a number of enhancements though.
