Is there any way to convert my forum without losing and posts or users etc? I want to change but don't want to lose it all.

Well, if you read it, you can tell it's under beta testing and that you can sign up for the beta test.

BTW, the converter supports IPB 1.3, not 1.2, however I'm not sure how much changed and if it will still work with IPB 1.2
