Hello,
I know how to upgrade a forum etc... but thats about where my knowledge ends.
Mine is still on 1.6something because I lack the time to do a proper upgrade.
So I was wondering, is it possible that I install a (uptodate) forum in a different location, get all my plugins on it (if they still work) , and I can tinker with it for a week or more? It would be on the same server.
If it is possible, is this complicated? Can it be a subdir like /newforum? Also, once I done all that, how to move it to the main url?
