I am developing a theme and nearly all drop down menus on my theme (including header nav dropdowns) are working perfectly. But, I decided to move the post controls from below the post, to above it, like so:

But, when opening the 'Edit' dropdown, this happens:

As you can see, the dropdown is still where it last was and I presume 'top' and 'left' classes are being added automatically. I tried this workaround: http://community.mybb.com/thread-159067.html - which works pefectly, except my dropdowns in my header nav then get pushed all the way up to the top left of the page.
Any info on this would be great as I am not sure if it's a theme problem or not?
