I run my forum on a 3000 mb/60 GB domain is it possible to use two domains.
example the whole forum on A (.eu domain)
and all the attachments people can add on B (.com domain)
I'm not sure. Either its impossible or would require a load of changes to the code. Why would you want to do this anyway? a 3000mb / 60GB package is fine to cope with attachments as well as posts...
Because in the forum I run people write about 1000 messages a day. What means when I able them to send attachment my 3000 is fast gone.
I believe you can just do this by changing the Upload path in the settings. As long as both domains are in the same server, just changing the upload path to the directory of the .com site will work

Yes but how many of those 1000 messages would have attachments? Unless you are running some kind of upload service (and with a 3GB storage package I guess not) you won't come into any problems. That or you could limit the size of attachment in the ACP. If they really want to host a large file get them to do it on a free file hosting service.
You can limit the size of attachments, you can limit the total file size of the attachments each user has. You can manually delete old attachments.
