How to install a theme?

Everytime I select the .xml file and click upload I get this error message:

The following errors were encountered:

MyBB could not find the theme with the file you uploaded. Please check the file is the correct and is not corrupt.

Okay. Got it now. I had to selct 'Ignore version comatibility'.

which theme you are trying ? (if it is a free theme then give its link)
does uploading the attachments with posts work fine ?
