I was wondering how I could possibly change the text color for when I make a thread, PM, or a New Reply?

All I get is a dark colored text (image provided), when I want it to be lighter. I've looked in jscrips/sceditor/editor_themes and then picked my css, but I can't seem to find it.

No no, not that. I know how to change it on my own, I mean the base text in the editor.

It looks like, from looking at my own site, the style is in /jscripts/sceditor/textarea_styles/jquery.sceditor.mybb.css

The element is "body, p"

Try editing those to change the color? If you don't mind directly modifying the styles like that
