Remove hard-delete permissions by group permissions.

I want to restrict my group (based on the default group) 'Super Moderators' rendering them unable to hard-delete any posts. 

Is this possible? To restrict certain groups from using Hard-delete.

Should I assume that this is not possible since this has not been replied to yet? Quite odd that I'm the first one to ask such a question since I'm sure others would find it interesting if it's indeed possible, it's the first hit on google after all.
