i got
1 of the required files and directories do not have proper CHMOD settings. Please change the CHMOD settings to the ones specified with the file below. For more information on CHMODing, see the MyBB Docs.


File Uploads Directory /uploads Not Writable
Please CHMOD to 777.



i used ftp and changed its permission but still it shows this error and i can not be able to upload anything in posts

check all folders in uploads and make sure they also have 777

done but still problem continues

well, you only can recheck permissions and also make sure that your hosting allows it at all

you can ask your hosting support, they should help, or at least they make you sure this folder permissions set right

This info should be seen on admin panel index page
