MyBB Community Forums

I haven't started anything yet and i am just asking for now.

I would like to have: an intro page -> blog -> Forum.

i am wondering is it better to have a wordpress blog and then forum as a mybb? or is better having mybb blog plugin and mybb forum?

How would you go with it?

If you're going to use MyBB as your forum software I'd go with extending with a blog plugin for it instead of using something so bloated like wordpress. Or you could setup a CNAME for a quick and easy Tumblr blog...
