i have one issue
i checked in both of my websites the issue is there
when a user wants to register it shows the username as not ok
shows it in red and not showing what is the error
what is causing this issue ?
please guide.
~/jscripts/general.js file might be corrupt
can you run file verification tool available at tools & maintenance section and check for changed / missing php & js files

all files i got error with and the file you wrote above i uploaded them again.. it would take few minutes to update but lets see hopping the issue will be solved.

any ways, i was checking what cause the error and got this one
this shows....
Empty string passed to getElementById().
even after typing in username, there is no change, it shows like that area is empty.
i re uploaded the file of jquery.js but still same issue is there,
how to solve... why it shows it as empty and not when i type it should go green and not remain red like nothing is written there.
YES I REPLACED that general.js file
still no changes.
I just see that 10 people registered since yesterday but those must be spammers and i wonder how did they register and it worked fine for them.!
i check myself register on my own sites and for me it shows red and not green.
