I am in need of a forum setup that offers me post moderation, I am being bombarded with spam and don't have the time, energy or staff that is required to keep ahead of it, so my only opinion is to seek out another setup that offers my staff the capability of moderating posts, does mybbboard offer this ?

You can indeed. ACP -> Manage Forums -> Edit -> Moderate new posts -> Yes & Moderate new threads -> Yes

We also have an Akismet plugin that will battle spam if you experience problems
