I have the following problem:
My forum is for a browser game with multiple universes/rounds.
So i managed the permissions with a single usergroup per universe and then assingned every user the groups he needed related in which universe he plays.
every group is only allowed to see one single part of the forum and nothing else.
that works fine for the case the user is in only one group but by addin him to another it get messed up
user x may se forum a and user y may se forum b
so if i want that i simply put x in group a and y in group b.
but if i put x in a AND b he will see neiter a nor b, because a does not allow to see b and vice versa.
in the version i used before i used hack i found in here to change that behaviour, but i am not able to find it any more and this thread:

makes me hope there is another way for what i want than editing the code everytime i update.
