I'm not sure if simply changing the board url to https rather than http in the admin cp will force gravatar to serve its avatars over https on a forum, but it'd be nice if the option would exist to do this....

thanks. I'll test it out on my test forum.
edited to add: tested the code changes and it appears that the gravatar URLs are now being saved with https by default. still, I think it'd be nice to add this option in the admin cp without having to modify core code.
