I upgraded my forum to 1.8 but I don't have the nice toolbars, no "new reply" button for the massages and my smilies aren't working. What did I do wrong?

Can or should I run the update a second time to correct this?

Your templates look out of date. Are you still using a 1.6 theme? If so, that's your problem.
