Hi there,
I am having some issues with my bandwidth on my forum. I only have 61 members, but we seem to be using around 3GB/day of bandwidth. Can anyone help me find out why this is? I just intalled Google Analytics so I could see what's eating up the bandwidth and maybe block some ips - could anyone help me figure this out?

Well, I loaded the front page and...

(Not all of that is from your server, some is external sites, but at least half is your bandwidth).

For starters, does the header image need to be almost 2mb?
You're right. I have now optimized all my images for the web - do you have any other recommendations?
Thanks for your time Smile
It looks like you're using some image caching to save bandwidth. You might want to explore using a CDN to load your images.

Instead of having all those affiliate images load at the bottom of the forum every time, I suggest that they be moved to a separate "Affiliates" page. That way you need not load those images unless a user is actively seeking similar sites.

I think you're on track with trying to optimize your forum and finding ways to make it better.
