Is it possible to modify so that Users can view their own unapproved posts/threads ?

Someone else asked and there was a possible solution posted here for 1.6 but perhaps this works for 1.8: http://community.mybb.com/thread-100593-...33591.html

Warning: it does require editing a core file which is frowned upon. I have not tested this either.
