Hi All -
My private forum is set to force users to log in to view the board, and the registration method is Administrator activation.
I am receiving email notifications that there are new users pending admin activation, and I am able to activate new registrations with no problem. However, after activating the new user, an email is not being sent out to the user confirming that they have been activated. I can't seem to find that setting anywhere.
Any suggestions? I am running MyBB 1.8.6.
I don't understand.. You said your method is set to Administrator Activation, so I'm not sure why would you expect verification emails to be sent to users (as stated in the title). A confirmation mail (as stated in the post) should be sent though, if you activate users correctly (Activate User(s) action, not group change) and have correct email settings.

Thanks for the reply - I've updated the title of my initial post.
Confirmation emails are definitely not being sent, although I believe email settings are correct. In fact, I am receiving the email notifications that users are awaiting activation.
Any idea what setting I may have missed?

The emailing from MyBB is evidently working as you're receiving the emails. It sounds like you may not be activating the users correctly.

The emailing from MyBB is evidently working as you're receiving the emails. It sounds like you may not be activating the users correctly.
To activate, I am selecting the user from the ACP, and in the "Inline User Moderation" drop down, selecting "Activate User(s)", and clicking "go". They are then successfully activated, but no email notification goes to the user.
