rather than having a proper thread title explaining the problem clearly, I decide to make it clear why this problem is occurring

Hello, I am new to MyBB, trying to install the DVZ_Shoutbox plugin, which requires the use of some PHP knowledge to add to the board?

I have put the files in right place. Just don't know of last step to add {$dvz_shoutbox} into Index - what index this is talking of, and where this file go to in the PHP (specific: the line)

AdminCP > Templates & Style > Templates > your theme

Then find a template (maybe Index page templates > index)

I thought it was referring to the actual PHP code and not the theme templates!
