I'm new to mybb. I have a new installation of Ubuntu Server 14 with mybb 1.8. I have everything installed and working on the server without issue. However; when i navigate to the site from an outside source i do not see any of the default images for the forum. The words are there but no images, including the MyBB logo at the top. My folder is in the html folder where the rest of the files need to be, per Ubuntu 14. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. My site is fortwayneguntraders . com

Your images path is set to localhost/images

Where would i see that?

if your website root directory is "html", check html/images ...

You are correct, the images are stored there in html/images.

Go to admincp > configuration > site details. are they localhost?

try this out and see if fixes.

Yes they are localhost

Change it to your domain name, not localhost.

are your caches folder and is sub-folders all writable? ( CHMOD 777)
