If you press CTRL+F5 (works on IE, don't know about others) should reload the whole page from the server.
CTRL+R for firefox I think. Or if you have the developers bar installed, Miscellaneous -> Clear Cache
For Firefox CTRL+F5 also reloads the complete page.
F5 and CTRL+R do not reload the complete page. Sometimes cached contents still get displayed.
I would have thought it would also be something to do with your OPTIMIZATION settings, in your AdminCP???
