I need [video] to use https instead of http when serving youtube videos.

I'd suggest an option for this as it results in youtube videos not being displayed over https.

It's already available for videos that support https (so definitely youtube), you need to update your MyBB/themes. Rejecting.

As for the rest (http-only videos and images), there's http://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=450 which could/should be a core functionality.
