Hi! How can I disable portal.php and restore index.php as my default home page?
I'd also like to have an homepage like the official MyBB one, with many nice configurable sections and so on. There's a way to get a similar result?

You can deactivate the portal at the Plug-in manager.
To have a homepage just create an html, css page in the parent directory
I disabled the portal page editing the index.php file in my root directory, since it contains subdomains data.
I can't get a page like MyBB's one easily, I suppose. There's an easier way to achieve this task?

That's a whole separate system which was custom coded by chris. It has nothing to do with MyBB. If you want to learn how to do that, then learn
php and
html.

This is exactly what I mean. Reading your response, I guess that it's closed source. I'm a .NET developer and I already know HTML, so I think I should also learn php to achieve my objective... :-D
