I need help with advertising my forum site. It is a general discussion / gaming / etc forum.
I know about PublicityClerks but what else can I do?
well if you want to actually get members via advertise, you need to do it on some big social groups/websites. And you probably need to pay.

Word of mouth is your best advertising.
Try advertising on social networks and big webmaster forums and community forums that are subjected to internet marketing.
Still looking for some help regarding this subject.
