I get this error when attempting to register. It started when I upgraded to the latest mybb version a month ago. I have disabled all plugins. I'm using the default theme. I have disabled all spam countering options in Login and Registration Options. Is there somewhere else I should check? What setting does this error refer to?
I also have lots of configuration settings from disabled plugins. I even removed all those plugins from the plugins folder, but the settings remain. So I don't know if they are interfering with anything.
