when going to this specific docs page (I imagine it might be an issue for other parts of the docs site), it threw the following error:

it also looks like some of the android images on the page might be broken or simply don't exist.
Hi Andrew,

I will have someone look into it, it appears to be related to changes we've made at CloudFlare regarding HTTPS.

Thanks
Tom
Yes, we're working on enabling HTTPS site-wide so there might be some minor issues.
Internal links in docs.mybb.com should be pointing to http:// again now.

That'll be nice. You'll be able to take advantage of newer technologies such as HTTP/2 and hopefully get a nice improvement in performance.

Now, that makes me happy.

great!

how is mybb going to proxy images on the forum side of things? are they going to use a script that already exists or write their own?

If we won't be able to set up a proxy that would handle the traffic we will most likely use http://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=450.
One way or another it shouldn't be much of a burden given the majority of video/image hosting services are available over secure protocol.

if mybb did proxy the images, this would be a great time for mybb to write a thorough tutorial to help push people to adopt SSL on their mybb sites, especially when we can get trusted certs for free.
