I am sure there is one somewhere and all you do is upload the php file execute it and it auto updates myBB to latest version...

I really appreciate the fast help Tikitiki but I am 100% sure there is an upgrade script.
You upload the php file, execute it and it will check for latest version at myBB site and then upgrade.

I am familiar with the normal upgrade procedure but this was a great shortcut script.
Maybe it has been removed but I only used it a few months back.??

Nope. There has never been a script that will automatically update your forum for you. The upgrade script included in the install directory updates the database structure.

maybe I am mixing it up with Smf which I have on a few other sites for clients.
