Hello,

how can i setup something, so the forum automatically pms users a message, after they activated their account (or maybe before?). I'd like to put a welcome message.

Work's perfect on latest MyBB after changing compatibility to 18*

The one suggested by (Eldenroot) has many hidden bugs and not a reliable plugin from my experience.

I wonder why MyBB don't got this as inbuilt feature , 2.0 plans for this !

Welcome-PM is not fully compatible with MyBB 1.8 even with changed compatibility line to 18* - just check code and you will see. Yes, it works but it is not without issue
