Yes, that's quite easy.
You just need to add sidebar code in header template in place of index template.

You can use the Spanish language pack that is available on MyBB Extend and it will do the magic trick

Focus needs to be updated first, this version is outdated.
You can change the font in global.css
To move things to bottom, modify code from index template to footer template
