Is there a plugin or way to show upcoming events on the index page in 1.8 like there was in 1.6? Thanks!

The 1.6 version still works in 1.8 as you can see at the bottom of my forum

Just change the compatibility '1.6' into '1.8'; that's all........
Thanks but how do I do that? On the plugin page it says its incompatible with 1.8.6. How do you change the compatibility?
