I want to close all threads in this category via code or phpmyadmin

So you want to close all threads of a specified "fid" ? If so, open attached file and replace the x with the fid of the category where all threads must be closed. Then upload it to your root of the forum and open the file in IE/FF/... .

Just run it multiple times. Modifing it would take more time than it's worth.
