Hello,

So I have upgraded MyBB from 1.8.3 to 1.8.7 and everything is working fine (every other plugin I'm using still functions the same).

However, Enhanced Account Switcher v2.09 (http://doylecc.altervista.org/en/switcher.html) is not working as intended. I only use 1 feature from this plugin and its to change the author of a thread as an administrator to another user.

The way to do this is:

1. Click arrow next to posters username
   
2. A popup appears, enter the name of person you want to make the new thread original poster
   
3. Press 'Submit'
   

However, when the popup appears the input box to enter usernames does not work.

I also see 'Synchronous XMLHttpRequest on the main thread is deprecated because of its detrimental effects to the end user's experience. For more help, check https://xhr.spec.whatwg.org/.' in javascript console as soon as I click the button to bring up the popup.

This was working fine before upgrading.
So how can I narrow down the problem and fix it?
Alternatively, does anyone know of other plugins that can change the original poster of a thread? (That is change thread author).

you can try using OUGC Admin Post Edit plugin

In your headerinclude template change "var modal_zindex = 9999;" to "var modal_zindex = 9995;"
