Is it possible to move over IPB 1.3 to a clean installation of MyBB 1.8.

Keep in mind it's the free version of IPB on InvisionFree and it's been online for about 5 years with information going back to day one.

do you get its database ? if so it should be possible to convert to MyBB 1.8.x
it might not be a direct conversion - could be through some other forum script / MyBB old version ..

If you can get a copy of the most recent IPB, it will upgrade your old board even if it's from 1.3. Then the MyBB merge script will be able to read the database. I personally did this on IcyBoards dozens of times.
