Can i put Something or put slideshow in there?
and how to add a slideshow?

yes, you can put a image or a slideshow .. etc.
do you want to put it only on the portal page ?

at present we do not have any sideshow related plugins.
in general, any jQuery based slider can be added through templates.
however required codes & images should be manually added to the templates ..

Go to Templates & Style -> Templates -> Your Flatty Theme Name -> Index Page Templates -> index

And underneath

Add your carousel code this should place it in the shown area of your picture.
