Hi guys, I am running 1.2.2 and followed the instructions for upgrading, when i run the upgrade.php all I get is a white page nothing more, I followed the instructions in the wiki I also tried the functions.php replace in another thread but nothing.
Any help appreciated...
Now, backup inc/settings.php and config.php files in your PC, and then upload all files of MyBB 1.2.6 by overwriting the old ones..
After that, upload your settings.php and config.php files back into 'inc' folder...
Then go to
http://yourwebsite.com/install/upgrade.php
Try this one, it will work..
Then check whether your inc/config.php and inc/settings.php exist... Maybe database name, user and password info in config.php file are not true.. Check them.. Otherwise, try uploading changed files again by backuping config.php and settings.php

1) Download MyBB 1.2.6 from
http://www.mybboard.net/downloads/51.zip
2) Backup these files from your FTP by downloading:
- inc/config.php
- inc/settings.php
- and 'uploads' folder
3) Delete all files related to MyBB from your FTP.
4) Upload MyBB 1.2.6 files to FTP.
5) Then upload your backup files (inc/config.php, inc/settings.php, and uploads folder)
6) After all go to install/upgrade.php
That's all. You should not have a problem if you try like that...
lmfa of course i changed it, I have done the exact as they upgrade instructions say so plerase firewolf stop repeating yourself and read what i write
