I want to have a plugin that will allow me to view multiple user groups on profiles and post i have tried all the plugins i can find online but they don't work on mybb 1.8.7

You must have searched in the wrong plugin database then because all 1.8 plugins should work fine, e.g. mine: http://community.mybb.com/mods.php?action=view&pid=367

I have tried it it's not working for me at all i tried the trouble shooting i even tried the default theme it still doesnt work for me

So the variable is inserted e.g. in the postbit template? If yes, you can PM me a temporary admin account to check what's wrong, but it looks like some sort of group/user misconfiguration.

I don't see any user withh 2 usergroups that have rank images. I added Developer to the account you provided and it works just fine..
